I’m very honored to be one of this year's Mark Carr Memorial Scholarship recipients and would like to take this opportunity to thank you.

​

I am currently a junior and planning to graduate in 2024. I’m majoring in criminal justice, and with this degree, I plan on becoming a juvenile probation officer. My goal is to be able to help teens caught up in the system and hope that I can help them have a better future and find a way out. It has always been a dream of mine to help people as

much as I can.

Upon graduation, I plan on finding an internship to get field experience while being a probation officer. After doing my internship, I do plan on staying in Connecticut and finding a job either with the state or a local municipality, that will best fit my career choice.
