2015 Charity Basketball Tournament

On Saturday, June 13th, four teams will compete to raise money for scholarship awards at New Britain High School and Charter Oak State College, New Britain. These awards will be granted to select students who have demonstrated an interest in following a career path to work in the public sector in the field of homeland security, emergency management or fire sciences.

 

That event to be held at New Britain High School will run from 10 AM to 4 PM. Family activities will include great food, face painting, raffle prizes, music entertainment and the game itself. Firefighting equipment and emergency vehicles will be on site for hands on inspection. The teams are made up of firefighters and police officers from both New Britain and Hartford.

 

Come watch the New Britain Fire Department, the New Britain Police Department and the Hartford Fire Department compete for Chief Carr’s Cup and enjoy a fun day for a worthy cause.
