Liz grew up in New Britain with dreams of following several family members into the fire service.

 

In 2008, Liz began her career in emergency services by obtaining her EMT certification and joining both Newington EMS, where she eventually earned the rank of FTO and lieutenant, and Kensington Volunteer Fire Dept. where she also obtained her fire certifications. In 2010,  Liz joined CT Task Force 1 as a planning specialist and now serves dual roles as both a planning specialist and medical specialist.

 

In 2014, Liz obtained her paramedic license and has  worked in New Haven County as a paramedic ever since, first with AMR New Haven, and most recently with Nelson Ambulance.

 

Over the course of her career, Liz served on Derby Storms Fire Dept. as an EMT/ Firefighter as well as Aetna Ambulance as an EMT.

 

2019 saw the fulfillment of Liz's lifelong dream as a firefighter/ paramedic.

 

Currently, Liz is furthering her education at Charter Oak State College pursuing a degree in Public Safety Administration and Emergency Services. Liz continues to serve on CT-TF1, volunteers with North Branford Fire Dept - EMS division, as well as working as a paramedic for

Vintech and Nelson.
